Itinerary

Day 1: BMW Motorcycle Tour Da Nang to Kontum/ Pleiku

The day when we begin our BMW Motorcycle Tour. We will take the Ho Chi Minh Trail from Da Nang to Kontum. The most amazing history in Central and Southern Vietnam is waiting for us on the route, and that is Lo Xo (Springs) Pass. Before lunch, the team will check in at the Bo Y border post at the Indochina T junction. Additionally, there are various firebases and Vietnam War relic sites for us to see.

Day 2: BMW Motorcycle Tour Pleiku to Krong Ban Lung

We will enter Cambodia today. We bid Kontum farewell first and then continue via Pleiku. When the crew gets to the border checkpoint at Le Thanh, we have lunch and review the protocols. We next go by vehicle to Krong Ban Lung, the provincial seat of northeastern Cambodia’s Ratanakiri Province. From here, each side will demonstrate why this nation was given the nickname “land of a thousand temples.”

Day 3: BMW Motorcycle Tour Krong Ban Lung to Kong Kracheh

On the fourth expedition, we will look at local life along the Mekong River. we are returning on the motorcycle to Cambodia’s capital. This day’s routes are adventurous. The province’s name, Ratanakiri, which roughly translates to “jewel mountain,” is its claim to fame. It is said that Colonel Kurtz’s compound in the movie Apocalypse Now was inspired by Ratanakiri’s meandering river system, notably the Tonle Srepok, and its untamed forests. The journey from Kampong Cham to Kratie via the charming villages along the east bank of the Mekong is a highlight. Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of Kratie by taking a dolphin encounter boat in the afternoon.

Day 4: BMW Motorcycle Tour Kong Kracheh to Phnom Penh

We will go by vehicle to the Cambodian capital today. Your imagination will be blown by Phnom Penh’s contemporary anarchy. We ride past the cute Mekong River town as we depart beautiful Kratie. As we get closer to Phnom Penh, it becomes clearer how much Buddhism has influenced this nation. Because of its lovely religions, Cambodia has a unique hue in Indochina.

Day 5: BMW Motorcycle Tour Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
Today, take a Mekong River cruise, explore Tonle Sap, and take in some of the most breathtaking views in rural Cambodia. As the Mekong River runs back into Tonle Sap, we will see a number of ancient Khmer temples on both banks of the river. We’re heading to Stueng Sean in Kampong Thum for lunch.
In Siem Reap, explore the UNESCO-listed marvels of Angkor. Discover the interesting history of the Khmer Empire while admiring the magnificent Angkor Wat temple. We spend one night in Siem Reap, a tourist destination in northwest Cambodia that serves as the entrance to the Angkor archaeological site. From the ninth through the fifteenth centuries, Siem Reap was the capital of the Khmer monarchy.

Day 6: Exploring Seam Riep

The province of Siem Reap lies in the northwest of Cambodia. It is the main tourist destination in Cambodia since it is the nearest city to the renowned Angkor temples (the Angkor temple complex is north of the city). The Tonle Sap Lake, the largest sweet water resource in all of Southeast Asia, is where Siem Reap, the provincial capital, which also goes by that name, is situated. The city’s name, which literally translates as “Siamese Defeated,” alludes to the Khmer Empire’s 17th-century triumph against the Thai kingdom’s troops. Day 7: BMW Motorcycle Tour Siem Reap to Stung Treng
After touring Angkor Wat the previous day, we said goodbye to Siem Reap and rode to the hilly area of northeast Cambodia, upstream of the Mekong Delta. On the road out of Siem Reap Province, there are still several temples and pagoda ruins. One of the most well-known temples in Cambodia is Prasat Preah Vihear. The Khmer Empire authorized the construction of Prasath Preah Vihear. The temple’s remarkable architecture and breathtaking setting have led to its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Before traveling to Laos, the Land of a Million Elephants, we spend the night in Stung Treng.

Day 8: BMW Motorcycle Tour Stung Treng to Don Khong
In order to wait for the processes, we are traveling to the Trapaing Kreal International Border Checkpoint while drinking coffee.
We journey in comfort to Don Kon from the border. The island is home to 99 mountain peaks, a long history of temples, and French colonial structures. A relic from the 1800s, the locomotive was constructed during the French colonial era. This tranquil haven on the Mekong, which is an island south of Laos, has a unique charm. Both its waterfalls and the Irrawaddy dolphin are famous.

Day 9: Relaxing in Don Kong

You should use today to unwind and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Indochina and the Mekong Delta flow. Learn about the rocky Liphi Waterfalls and get the chance to zipline across them while swimming at a sandy beach. The most stunning park is located at the Khone Papheng waterfall, often known as the South-East Asian Niagra falls. After a Laotian-style lunch, return to the mainland in your own Minivan.

Day 10: BMW Motorcycle Tour Don Kong to Salavan

Today, we travel upstream on the Mekong, which will take us to Pakse, the capital of Southern Laos. Founded in 1905 as a French administrative outpost, this city served as the capital of the Champasak Kingdom of Laos until 1946, when the Kingdom of Laos was established. And when we eat lunch here, we’ll find out more about it. We will spend this evening sleeping in Salavan City before bidding Laos adieu and returning to Vietnam.

Day 11: BMW Motorcycle Tour Salavan to Khe Sanh

To avoid the large peak, we cycle up to the north from Salavan. Before reaching the Lao Bao border checkpoint, the team will find these paths a little challenging. We meet at the monument commemorating the Lao-Vietnamese War for lunch. Purchase some beer and listen to the battle stories you find so fascinating. After the border, it’s between 3 and 4 o’clock. For this evening, we journey to Khe Sanh Combat Base.

Day 12: BMW Motorcycle Tour Khe Sanh to Da Nang
The journey back to Da Nang will take place on the seashore. We take a journey from Khe Sanh to the Vinh Moc Tunnels to see how the little Vietnamese conquered the US. Then, for lunch, our group travels to Hue, a historic city in Vietnam. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Imperial City, and the Perfume River if we have time.
The final obstacle before we get to Da Nang is Hai Van Pass, also known as Ocean Cloud Pass. The Pass, a hilly spit of land protruding into the East Sea, acts as a natural barricade along the beach.

  1. Deposits and Payment Policy
  • We require a deposit of 30% of the total upon confirmation of booking the tour. The remaining balance will be paid 45 days before departure. Your booking may be considered canceled if the full balance is not received by Vietnam Motorbike Tours Club by that time.
  • You can choose the payment method by money transfer or credit card payment with all bank transfer charges/ fees to be paid by you. 
  • After receiving your payment, we will issue you the final confirmation of the detailed itinerary and services via e-mail.
  1. Cancellation and Refunds
  • Vietnam Motorbike Tours Club takes no responsibility for any flight delays or scheduled changes at any stage throughout the trip. 
  • We have the discretion to change the itinerary or delay the tour due to weather, local conditions, politics, or various other reasons with our notification in advance.
  • During the tour, should you be found to break any of the rules without the prior exception from the tour leader, we have the discretion to cancel the tour with no refunds applied. 
  • During the tour, should your bike have minor technical problems, our guide/mechanic will attempt to fix it as quickly as possible. In the event that the bike can not be fixed within the day, we will endeavor to substitute a bike of a similar type to ensure your trip is not interrupted.
  • Should you have to cancel the tour due to special reasons, you may transfer your booking to another person. However, you will be liable for your nominee paying their monies in full.
