Itinerary

DAY1: HA GIANG EASY RIDER TO DONG VAN LOVE MARKET (185KM)

After breakfast and coffee before hit the road of an exciting day on the road at 8:30 am. About 10km from the resort, we reach a river fork.

Back of the Bike Tour on the well-maintained National Highway 4c with an exceptional view. From above, it looks like we’re riding on the back of a giant snake slithering. We then stop at the welcoming gate of Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark before attempting to conquer the mountain pass ahead, which challenge us a really tough ride with some slopes ascending at 15%. We climb a little bit all to the top of the Bac Xum slope. 

We’ll break for 10 minutes before continuing on the HA GIANG EASY RIDER tour: The Quan Ba sky gate. After a short break here, we walk all the way up the peak on foot or simply have some coffee with a spectacular view before continuing on to the Co Tien twin-mountains, another landmark on the Ha Giang circle. After taking in the breathtaking natural surroundings, we drive onto Provincial Road 181 to explore the H’Mong hamlet of Lung Tam.

Take a peek at their everyday lives, and you’ll notice that their traditional flax weaving skill brings us much delight. We ride through massive flax fields to Yen Minh’s summit for a panoramic view before stopping for lunch at 12:30 pm in Yen Minh town. We rode on National Highway 4c for an hour to Dong Van, pausing at the Hmong King Palace and the Lung Cu flag pole along the way, and arrived at our accommodation around 5:30 pm.

DAY 2: HA GIANG EASY RIDER TO DONG VAN TO BAO LAC (120 KM)

Dong Van, Meo Vac is linked with nature’s grandeur and the perseverance of the inhabitants in the face of adversity. Even pure water is considered a luxury in this country of jagged rocks and forests. We were on another winding and turning road adventure as soon as we left town! As is customary, we will begin our day with breakfast.

We arrive at Meo Vac around 11.30 a.m. and stop for lunch before continuing on our journey. We appreciate the view from Ma Pi Leng, one of the four famous passes of northern Vietnam, which stands at 1200m above sea level and overlooks the beautiful Nho Que river. We also offer a 3-5km off-road ride that takes you directly to the mountain summit, where you can see the geological park through the clouds.

We just ride for 90 kilometers on National Highway 34 to Bao Lac, where we conclude our second day with ease and pleasure.

DAY 3: HA GIANG EASY RIDER TO BAO LAC - ME PIA PASS - CAO BANG - PHIA THAP

After breakfast, our motorbike leaves Bao Lac town and moves along the Gam river before climbing up the 15-story  Me Pia pass. It is regarded as the most tortuous mountain track in the Northeast region that will bring an unforgettable experience on the voyage from Bao Lac to Phia Thap. 

You can have a stop for lunch when seeing any restaurant on the way. After enjoying your meal and taking some rest, you continue to move to Tra Linh, which stands out due to the wild beauty of overlapping mountains, lush green lawns, and murmuring waterfalls. From this destination, you will have to get a ride through off-road paths with numerous potholes and bumpy rocks to reach Quang Uyen, where you will take overnight at a guest house.

DAY 4: HA GIANG EASY RIDER TO BAN GIOC WATERFALL AND CAO BANG

If you’re looking for a beautiful place, this day will thrill you to no end. The Ban Gioc waterfall is in an exceptional condition of preservation and is located in a remote location of Northeast Vietnam. From Quang Uyen, take a short road through beautiful countryside to reach the Ban Gioc waterfall.

Take a walk around here to immerse yourself in nature’s enchanting splendor. Taking pictures of the surrounding scenery is also a fantastic idea. A natural pool beside the waterfall allows you to relax by soaking your body in the water. You get back to Cao Bang in the afternoon on your motorcycle.

Here, you should spend your time exploring the town in your own unique way. You can visit various communities to learn more about the residents’ lifestyles and customs.

DAY 5: HA GIANG EASY RIDER FROM CAO BANG TO BA BE LAKE

Your day begins with an exciting Ha Giang Easy Riders Tour from Cao Bang to Ba Be Lake. Although the road is smooth, the initial section is twisting and sinuous. Meanwhile, BM travel motorbike tour guide will take you via many country roads until arriving at a Tay village near Ba Be Lake. Our guide will show you another path that is considerably more difficult to accomplish if you enjoy off-road trails. A boat ride for sightseeing is one of the most intriguing activities you should do when visiting Vietnam’s largest lake.

DAY 6: HA GIANG EASY RIDER FROM BA BE LAKE TO HANOI

The Ha Giang Easy rider is nearing the end of their journey. You return to Hanoi on our motorbike from Ba Be Lake. You’ll take to the Red River’s well-worn pathways, passing through maize and rice farms, handicrafts, and fishing towns. Following the 235-kilometer stretch, you will return to Hanoi before rush hour and conclude your motorbike road adventure here.

  • Riding Long Pants (we recommend a pair of jeans)

  • Visa fee (approximately 25 USD/person, depending on nationality)
  • Travel insurance of any kind
  • Tip, drinks, personal expense, and other expenses not described in the itinerary

Notes:

  • We provide vehicle support and driver with an extra price of 150 USD/day/ truck upon your REQUEST!
  • A single stay will cost 20 USD extra/ day
  • If tours do not depart/ end in Hanoi then the surcharge for bike shipping to/ back to Hanoi is 120 USD/ bike.
  • VAT Excluded from the price, if you want VAT included, 10% of the total price will be added.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

  • To secure your bookings we require a minimum of 30% deposit. Full payment will be made by cash or credit on the first day of the tour.
  • The rider is responsible for any bank charges (surcharge 3,5% if you pay by credit card )
  • If you cancel the tour before the departure date, you will lose 100% of the deposit.
  • If you cancel the tour after the departure date, you will lose 100% of the total cost/ fee of the tour for any reason.
  • A deposit of US$ 100 – 1,000 or more is required for each motorcycle for use in the guided or self-guided motorcycle tours. In case of a self-caused accident, your own participation is up to US$ 2,000 or more.
