We go to Bahom, the Co Tu people’s hamlet. Here you will discover more about the Co Tu culture and customs.

We cross the river after leaving Kham Duc through an amazing suspension bridge. We ride down the Ho Chi Minh Trail, through Vietnam War sites, including Charlie Hill, the Phoenix airfield, and one of the Agent Orange-affected military camps. We eat lunch on the Laos-Vietnam border in Ngoc Hoi. Following that, we will visit a 1930s wooden French colonial church, an orphanage, traditional ‘Rong’ homes, and Kon Tum Prison.

Day 3: From Kon Tum to Buon Ma Thuot (260 KM)

Today is a long trip! We travel through the Ho Chi Minh Trail, passing through mountain communities and ethnic minority farming life. You observe how rubber trees release their extract and stroll through rice, cashew nut, and black pepper plantations. We go to a tea plantation, a blacksmith, and the J’rai tribe’s hamlet and graves.

Day 4: Buon Ma Thuot to Lak Lake (90 KM)

We get back on the motorcycle after breakfast to experience the native life in the highlands. We travel through rice fields to the town of Ede, where we take a ferry over the river to meet members of the Tay tribe. We go on to the Jun settlements that surround Lak Lake. The M’nong, one of Vietnam’s many mountain tribes, dwell here. We’ll go fishing on the lake with one of the M’nong families.

Day 5: From Lak Lake to Dalat (160 KM)

We head to the Krong No Highland market and either the Elephant or the Pongour Waterfall on our final morning.
