Itinerary

DAY 1: HANOI – MAI CHAU

Mai Chau is located in Hoa Binh, which is about 150 kilometers towards the West of Hanoi. Normally, it takes around 4 hours to travel by bike from Vietnam’s capital to this destination. Speaking of popularity, Mai Chau cannot stay at the same level as its neighbor, Moc Chau Plateau. Despite that, its hidden beauty is an intriguing thing that interests a large number of motorcyclists, not only come for the first time but also come back more several times.

In terms of the roads, it is not difficult to ride the motorcycle on Mai Chau paths. In reality, the Government spends a certain amount of budget on these roads to support tourism service development here. However, it does not mean that you can be careless while riding there even though you are an amateur rider or professional one. After a long riding day, our team will stay in a traditional house of Thai ethnic, stilt-house. Do not forget to sleep well and get ready for crossing the border, come to beautiful Laos.

DAY 2: MAI CHAU – LAOS BORDER – SAM NUA

On the morning of the second day in our 10-day tour, from Mai Chau, Hoa Binh, our team continues to move to Thanh Hoa province by riding on the path stretching along Ma River until Nameo Town. There, let’s go straight to Laos!

Coming to Laos- Vietnam border areas, you will feel close to nature more than any time because of the lush tropical forests and magnificent mountains. Most of the borders between Vietnam and Laos go through the top of the mountains or mountain slopes; or in the middle of jungles. This leads to a more challenging trip for everyone.

After passing the border, the team arrives in Sam Nua. You can pay a visit to the ancient temple, where local people and tourists often come to get a lucky charm. Speaking of food, do not forget to taste a wide range of street food in the border province.
